The tech called me my friend, and the office manager was very engaged. Very Friendly!
Every staff member I interacted with were professional, efficient and most importantly kind. The treatment I received was top notch and done with dignity and care; this is significant for those like myself with panic inducing dental anxiety. I highly recommend.
I scheduled a basic cleaning and showed up for my appointment. They performed the initial exam and x-rays, then flatly refused to do the cleaning I'd booked unless I agreed to pay out of pocket for a list of additional services my insurance had not approved. In other words, they withheld the basic care I came in for because I wouldn't sign off on extra work my insurance wouldn't cover. Bridge came loose, went to Aspen for help. Took lots of expensive x-rays then refused treatment citing Dentel Board regulations. Went to private dental office and received immediate treatment. Aspen is just about their corporate bottom line but have no concern for the patient. A complete waste of time and money.
Dr. Montiel and his staff, specifically Gabby and Fernanda were the best! I am terrified of the dentist and when i had the infection in my gum which required a tooth extraction and and implant, Dr. Montiel was so compassionate and took the time to explain the process, keep me calm through each procedure, and took great pride in his work to be sure everything was done perfectly.
