This lady should not be called a dr she does not care about her patients nor listen to anything they’re saying. I would absolutely give her negative stars if I could! It’s her way or the highway. Very cold person no empathy this is most definitely not the profession she should have chosen. I would definitely rethink about this dr if you have a upcoming appointment.

She has poor communication skills, and seemingly no training dealing with autistic people. She would pick a single word from a sentence I said, go on an unrelated tangent, and jump to false conclusions. It made her very hard to talk to, which made it very hard to get proper treatment. Would not recommend.

Dr. Choudhry is an exceptional Psychiatrist. I have been to multiple Psychiatrists; however, she is the only one who has listened to me and worked with me in my treatment plan. She thoroughly explains the treatment plan, actively answers my questions, and shows a genuine care for my wellbeing. I feel comfortable speaking with her, and would recommend her to anyone struggling.

I had an appointment with Dr. Choudry and it was a terrible experience for me. She has a one size fits all approach when treating her patients; that does not work with mental illness. What may work for you may not work for others. She judged me without even knowing me and left some back handed comments. I would not recommend her; avoid at all costs.

Dr. Choudry was the first psychiatrist that I've ever been to, so I was a little nervous to meet her. But once I sat down and we talked for a while, I felt really comfortable explaining what was going on. She listened, asked some questions, and we discussed multiple medication options and then she had me choose which route I wanted to take. During our follow ups, she would ask how life is and if the medications were helping. Days are consistently much easier after professionally seeing Dr. C.

I’ve been seeing a therapist for about 9 years now but just starting seeing a psychiatrist a couple of years ago. I have had three different pyschiatrists and only with Dr. Choudery do I finally feel like myself again. I finally feel as though my medications and dosages are correct and adjusted adequately. I am forever grateful for that. Would highly recommend her to anyone wanting help.

Very easy to talk to . She took time to talk through all options on course of medicine. Quickly identified changes needed in current medication prescribed and explained why. Started out with depression, anxiety, anger and moodiness with no energy. 2 months being on new course of mess feeling great, more energy and looking forward to tomorrow!

Dr. Asifa Choudhry is very knowledgeable, upto date, listens patiently, helpful, gives scientific facts, never rushes. I feel very comfortable talking with her. I believe she is one of the best doctors in mental health in Illinois. Good doctors have way more experience and knowledge about how our brain works and what could be the best medical approach.... I would advice to trust her guidance, she really has the best interest of patient in mind. She is truly amazing and wonderful!
