If your a white person, you may not want to go here. I was walking around the mall when 2 security guards (one was black and the other was hispanic) stopped me and told me that my Vietnam t-shirt was highly offensive to South Koreans because of their relationship with North Korea. (this is total B.S. in case you don't know) The first guard (the black guard) said that I had to either buy another shirt to wear or leave the mall. Leasing agents are so racists and crooked liars, they won’t allow no color people in the mall, this happening in this new century, they are sooo liars and crooked bias.
i use to live about a block away from this place. the food court is amazing. great place to visit if it's your first time in little Saigon. surrounding shop are ok. it's like down town china town shops. avoid going on the weekends, super crowded. great place for adventure in food if you want to try something new. make plans to spend a whole day because it's surrounded by cool places all around that is in walking distance. have fun and enjoy a little bit of Vietnam.

The main draw to Asian Garden Mall for me is the annual Little Saigon Night Market, held in front of the mall from mid-June through the first weekend in September, Fridays through Sundays from 7 pm to 11 pm. The experience reminds me of the night markets I've been to in Southeast Asia, with plenty of freshly-made Vietnamese street food items and grilled seafood from the numerous food vendor stalls, plus merchandise vendor stalls and live entertainment.
