Love this place We were driving around and came across this place not knowing anything about it. Glad we did - the food is great. It is not greasy like some Chinese. We have gotten excellent service each time we have been there and never had to wait. After the first time I couldn't wait to go back. We have dined in and had take out and are always pleased.
Not very tasty food This is a Thai restaurant. It is very small and I believe handles a lot of take out. I ordered take out and wasn't very impressed. The serving size was rather small. The noodle dish I ordered had shrimp which had a funky smell and taste. It almost tasted like the shrimp wasn't fresh. After a few bites, I threw it away. Although I've only been there once, I hesistate going back again.
The Queen of N Burb Asian Dining!! Hands down, the BEST Thai food in the NBurbs. Food is always beyond flavorful, excellent service (both dine-in & take-out), and you consistantly feel as though you're having dinner with friends and not just patronizing a local eaterie. I would with out question recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants more than a small cut above, average Asian cuisine. Our family orders regularly from Asian Bowl, and will definitely continue to do so long into the future!
Good quality,consistency, customer service and value. I guess everyone has a different take on things. Unlike the previous review, I have had nothing but excellent luck with The Asian Bowl. I order from them several times per month and have been doing so for 3 years. They even greet me by name when I call or stop by to pick up my order (that's rare today). Really good Thai When I lived in Chicago I used to eat Thai at least a couple times a week. I was surrounded by Thai restaurants. Asian Bowl holds its own with any of them and provides good value, especially with the lunch specials. It does a good job with the "standards" and has fun dishes for something new. I've eaten there at least a dozen times and it's been consistently good.
Great lunch specials. Love the eggplant dish for dinner.

Love this restaurant! – We love the food and all seem consistent from the time we first ate here when they first opened. In fact, we decided to celebrate my birthday here rather than go to a more upscale restaurant. Have tried both Japanese (I love tempura) and Thai and feel the cooks do justice to both cuisines. I have eaten at many of the finer Japanese and Thai restaurants and find this compares in my book!
