I live here for 4 years and overall, I have to say I very much enjoyed my time. All of my requests were handled well, and I felt like that amenities / units were as advertised and that nothing was a surprise. The only minor dings are that the coffee machine was seemingly constantly broken (above what I would expect), and that the move out process (as others have noted) was a bit brusque in that I felt unfairly charged for a few cleaning items and there was little understanding on the part of Ashton/UDR.
Property management is the worst I've ever dealt with. They've constantly make mistakes on renewals and refuse to take accountability. It's difficult to get anyone on the phone that makes decisions. In particular Vinny in accounting is the worst. I've asked to speak with his manager and he said there's no one higher than him. Do yourself a favor and don't move in here.
