**Used Car Salesman**Found this home division and loved the homes but could not build right away. Spoke with ******** and they were willing to sell the lot, as long as I built with them. I found the 1-acre lot I wanted and as we stood on the lot, he gave me the agreed price of 90K. I inquired about the 1.8-acre two lots down and he quoted the difference based on size, so I decided to go with my first choice. Let me start by saying before we closed we mentioned most of everything here except the cabinet issue because they didnt place the boards in place until closing day August 2023. They had painters do a hurry up job on closing day because so much was missed that was blue taped to fix and still isnt done. We were told to submit tickets after closing for most of this. I dreamed of building a custom home for many many years and when I was finally able to l went with Ashlyn Homes because of the personalization. My wife and l picked out absolutely everything from the home layout to the the decorative trim and the team at Ashlyn Homes ushered us patiently throughout the whole process making it an experience my wife and l absolutely treasured. We bout a home from Ashlyn homes 8 months ago. Turned in a service request for our kitchen island that was stained, but barely has a coat of protective gloss on it, so you can scratch the stain off with a fingernail. You would think something very minor and cosmetic they would be more than happy to make it correct and finished the way it should be. Nope, once you buy and close you are thrown into the trash and they abandon the customer. The response from the rude lady at Ashlyn homes was, those look like dog scratches. Well ... read more
