I called around to 10+ local bakeries today and could not find any place that was selling baked goods in honor of Groundhog Day. That is....until a friend of mine suggested that I call Ashley's Pastry Shop in Oakwood. It was the owner of the shop who answered the phone when I called and she told me that they had unfortunately sold out of all their special Groundhog Day cookies....but she would be willing to make a couple of special order cookies just for me!! Had the most amazing gluten free cake ever!! I couldn't even tell the difference if it was gluten free or just normal cake
I live in Cincinnati, but frequently visit Dayton for work. It is a treat every time I'm able to stop in and grab some cookies! They are the best I have ever had, I can't get enough! The only downfall is that I don't live closer!

They have the best cake hands down in all of Dayton! I have lived in Europe and I have had some wonderful pastries and cakes and Ashley's do not disappoint!!
My little sisters sweet 16 cake came out amazing. Very moist cake and delicious icing.
