Had an over the top experience today, large take out order that needed to be done around their opening, THEY KILLED IT!! Great communication between the port Washington location and 9th Street location! Thanks for all of the efforts! You are by far the KINGS OF BBQ!! Highly recommend, happy to have a location so close to home in Port Washington now!!
Best soul food in the city and the only place I will go to buy my food. Piping hot and flavor on point.
The food and service were both excellent. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband got the bbq pork sandwich. Both were excellent and our friends also really enjoyed thier meals as well. Can't wait to go back!

Best bbq in the Midwest! Hands down. I crave this place all the time. Shoulder and rib Dinner is my go to everytime. Keep up the great work.
We had the catfish brisket prime rib and one of the hamburgers. Everything was excellent. Service was great and we will be back.

The food is good. However, they really need to get it together as far as customer service and business hours! You wait forever for bbq that's already cooked...? Why does it take so long to plate and bag food and get people out the door? They have a hold on the market for the moment, but if a real professional black restaurant comes along that has it's sh-- together, I will switch and so will everyone else!

My wife and I had dinner at the Port Washington location 2/17/18 to celebrate her 65th birthday. We had what turned out to be the worst dinning experience we have had in our 38 years together. Her shrimp dish was nothing more than shrimp in a sauce ladled over noodles. I I had a rib eye that was more fat than steak prepared and presented in a way that I have never seen.
