WORST GARAGE IN HUNTSVILLE Here is my review of Ashley Garage... I TOOK MY MERCEDEZ ML320 TO THEM FOR REPAIR. I ALREADY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE, I JUST NEEDED A PRICE. AFTER A FEW DAYS, I CALLED AND THE SECRETARY SAID, OH THE TECH JUST STEPPED OUT, HE'LL CALL YOU BACK. NEVER CALLED. DAY LATER I CALLED AGAIN, SHE AGAIN GAVE ME THE SAME SPEECH. AND NO RETURNED CALL. Horrible Ashley garage is by far the last place on this earth that I'll carry my BMW. They had my car for a total of 25 days for repairs that I asked a BMW expert should have taken 1 day. I would call up there and mrs. Ashley would say she would call me back on 4 different instances. Please if you carry your car here hope it's just for an oil change.
Expert repairs for reasonable prices I have been using Ashley garage for close to 20 years to maintain my 740 Volvo. Whenever I have the time (which is not very often) I maintain the car..from changing timing belt to doing brake jobs. Many times I have taken my car to Ashley and he has done a tremendous job. Excellent work and very reasonable prices. I will be calling him in a few minutes to schedule a brake inspection. He is trustworthy and knowledgeable in auto repairs.
I agree with Anne I agree with you Anne!! I've known David and his wife many years, both in sailing and BMW's, Volvo's and MB's he has always treated me fairly. I live in Decatur and it's well worth the drive when you know your being treated fairly. Thanks Dave!!!
Trustworthy "Mom and Pop" Volvo, BMW repair shop! My husband is Active Duty so he is gone a lot. We own a Volvo built in 1998, so with three kids, I need a reliable car mechanic who will not take advantage of me having to be the one to deal with most of the car repairs. I have full confidence in all the mechanics at Ashley Garage. They do great work and provide straight answers. unprofessional I took my three series BMW to Ashley's Garage for a/c service. I requested an opinion on the problem and instructed the mechanic to notify me before any service or actions were to be performed. I arrived later that evening only to find out they had done a complete system check which involved several hours of labor which they say, and cost for refrigerant lost. Great Service! For foreign cars, there is no better garage than Ashley Garage. They do the work quickly and efficiently, at a fraction of the price most other foreign auto repair shops in town charge. The mechanics are extremely knowledgable and friendly, and Mr. Ashley, the garage's owner, can diagnose any car problem. Located on Governor's Drive, it's a little hard to access. However, a little bit of parking trouble is worth a lot of money saved and a car that runs great.
