Finally.... an honest, reasonable mechanic!! – This was my first time going to Ashland Tire & Auto, and it was fantastic. I have an older car that hadn't been in the shop in awhile, so I was fearing the worst. Ken did a great job explaining what I needed, and told me several things that I DIDN'T need to do. It was so nice to be able to take my car in and not feel like I was being ripped off just because I'm a woman. These guys are honest and do great work. – The great thing about the Ashland Tire owners is that if there is nothing wrong with your car, they tell you. Or if it is minor, they tell you. They are honest and do great work.

Great service and prices – I also am surprised by the bad remarks here. I've used Ashland Tire & Auto for 10 years and have consisently good service. I've purchased (one-by-one) a full set of tires for my car, and always had prompt service, got better-than-avg prices, and backup of free repairs on the tires I purchased from there. Happy Customer – I went to Ashland Tire yesterday per the advice of my roommate. I needed a replacement tire, and they had one in stock that fit my car. I arrived at 5:40 pm and was outta there by 6. The staff was very friendly, and the cost of the repair was minimal. I will definatley go back for futher needs.
good to bad – on december 29th i called for tires for instalation on the 3oth. apt was made and showed up on the 30th but tires were not available. rescheduled for the 31st of december. tires were changed. two hours after leaving a noise from the left front wheel was evident. found a garage and discovered 3 out of lug nuts on the left front wheel were loose. could have caused an accident! maybe the tires not being available on the 30th was an omen. hear the owner is part time.
First use. Excellent Service! – I read the first review (negative) and couldn't disagree more. Just used the company last week and they were outstanding. Told me it would be 20 minutes. It took only 15. All personnel were polite and appreciated my business. I'll be back. Augfisch
Honest and reliable – I was so shocked by the other review for Ashland that it inspired me to register so I could post this. I've been going there for about six years now, and they are hands down one of the best and most honest repair shops I've ever visited. waste of time – I made an appointment 2 days ago to get tires rotated/30k mile check-up. I made it clear that I needed the car back by the evening. They said "no problem". I dropped it off early in the morning and waited...and waited. Finally, around 5pm, I called THEM (just like the last time) and they said that they "haven't gotten around to it"; that it "wouldn't be finished this evening" !!!!! What a WASTE of my entire day.
