I have been at Ashford Lakes for 3 years . I really like living here. The staff has been very nice to me and has taken care of my questions. I have to give my biggest praise and hat off to the maintenance crew. Steve (aka Grizz) Lonnie. Austin and Pablo. They are on top of everything and can fix anything They are great. No lake at all! A bacterial Swamp with a bridge crossing over this swamp, and a spout on each side of the cross bridge, to keep some flowing of the water. Ask ppl who lives there or moved out, if you can stand outside day or night without being bitten or eaten up even by insects you have never saw! Where is the picture of the 2 very large post that reads; "No Swimming, and Do Not Eat The Fish In the Water"? I would NOT recommend this property. It is very beautiful, but other than that. It doesn't have much to offer. The ladies in the office change every other week. The apartment is laden with roaches! Do you know how hard they are to get rid of? When we move we are going to have to bomb the U-Haul just so we don't bring roaches with us. The first week we were here my car got keyed and my tire slashed. But no worries, it wasn't anyone dangerous, just one of the hooligans in the neighborhood, so the officer said.
