"Update" Besides all the uncovered loads going to and from Asheville Mulch Yard in tractor-trailers. What can you do about all the mulch being spilled weekly at the intersection of Glenn Bridge Road SE and Ledbetter Road? Today I saw an elderly man from a nearby home with a leaf blower at that intersection. He was trying to clean up a front loader's bucket worth of mulch that fell off someone's uncovered trailer. That elderly man shouldn't have put his life in danger to do that. Do better.

I have been a customer of AMY for four years and this will probably be my last. The quality of the compost product was adequate in 2023, however, it has not been acceptable for the past three years. The amount of trash that I have to pick out of the compost is completely unacceptable, especially for a product that costs $72.90/yard. Rubber gloves, chip bags, gatorade bottles, pieces of glass, plastic tubing, wires, and an unending amount of small plastic fabric/material pieces...this is supposed to be a quality compost mix f... read more
Super friendly and helpful staff. From calling to inquire info, to looking at materials on-site and a super timely & precise delivery (shout-out to Greg!!), we cannot say enough and truly appreciate the AVL Mulch Yard South team! Super nice quality pine nuggets for our smaller DIY backyard project!
