Nothing but lost sleep and heartache The experience had been a nightmare and i am still angry about it all. After 14 months, Joe Hanna has sent me a partial refund of $3,000 on 7 November 2018. Still trying to reconcile the balance of the $11,500 deposit that was provided back in September 2017 with the parts etc. I am also waiting for Mr Hanna to freight the block, crank and performance parts. I was referred by the members on Subaruforester.org because my stage III 04 FXT had constant misfire. I got my heads back rebuilt and valves adjusted. Heads were so clean I didn't recognize them. We put my heads back on with arp studs, the engine is misfire free, quiet and smooth. Good price, good turnaround and beautiful work on my heads.

We sent in a customers EJ20 heads for freshening and hybrid chamber work. The heads came back so clean they were almost unrecognizable. Riley's car is making 450whp and it runs better than we hoped.

Worst business I have delt with yet. I took my block,crank, a few other parts down to have them hot tanked, block honed, and new (provided) cam bearings put in. After 6 weeks all that had been done was a few parts were hot tanked, my crank and block still sat in the exact same place as I dropped them off. Then he has the gall to tell me the bill is going to be $490 for the work because "He thinks his time is valuable" (apparently mine isn't). These guys came highly recommended by some shops here on the front range. Had Joe and Searl rework my Subaru STi hatch after a bad injector incident and two local shops "help" LOL Got her back and running to the tune of 440whp still going stong at 38,000 miles. Nobody is touching my Subaru but these boys!

I don't know what happened to jmespe1 in his dealings with ASF machine, but my dealings have been very positive. Had 2.5L Subaru RS heads bench flowed and cams reground and the clutch changed. Seems to have worked very well. People were friendly and enjoyable to deal with. I would recommend them, as did the local Subaru dealer.
