Update: Thank you @ascension for addressing my concerns Came in this morning and the waiting room was much cleaner. They put away the TV and dusted the table. They also put out a lot of air fresheners. Also, their tree is a holiday tree and it’s currently decked out for Independence Day. That was my mistake. The room is hot, cramped, and smells bad — it really needs a good deep clean. Our appointment was at 10 a.m., it’s almost 11, and we’re still waiting. Nobody has come out to explain the delay. I called for directions and the person who answered wasn’t friendly and gave off the vibe that I was an inconvenience. I had the same experience when making the appointment — I was with a friend at the time, and she said, “Wow, that person does not like her job.” The actual providers were friendly enough. Avoid Dr Lenka Zachar! Doesn’t give the full extent of care to her patients.I had a wound it worsen under her care.Every visit she would look and say “Ah it looks good” the whole time it was getting worse.I had an infection.I was referred for further treatment by her, Never did she ask further more ever mentioned anything about the infection.She doesn’t care for her patients she’s only there for a paycheck.
If I could give this place a zero I would! My mother was released from hospital after surgery and was supposed to have wound care/wound vac care set up via home healthcare before leaving hospital. Wound care not set up and she was released anyway and advised to come back Wednesday 4/1 to st. Vincent‘s Riverside wound care office at 8 AM to have wound back attached and bandage changed. Avoid Dr Lenka Zachar like the plague. She is not kind towards patients but even worse she is rude towards the people that work with her. Multiple times I have seen her berate nurses and staff in front of me. She lacks compassion and does not listen. If you are able to read this please do not allow this doctor to treat your loved one go somewhere else.
