This ER is absolutely terrible. Making people wait for HOURS to see someone, then becoming angry when parents say they just want to leave. My daughter was admitted for a psych issue, and first they made us do a 6 HOUR eval, before they would send a Mental Health Specialist. After the 6 HOURS, they referree her to psych, but they did not have a time. No one would give us a time. We had been at the hospital since Midnight, and it was 6am!! I used to think this was the best hospital but the level of care has went down in the past few years. Had an ER visit and was waiting in the waiting area for about 30 minutes prior to being taken back. Thought I was going into a room but was placed on a bed in the hall between 2 rooms.( there goes HIPAA) As rooms cleared out and were cleaned, I was not offered a room. nurse was very rude when i was scared for a blood draw and left the needle out for 30/40 mins nn didnt throw it where it was supposed to be
