Absolute terrible practice. They do not care about their patients and will let them suffer, especially at the cost of the patient's health. While the providers may have taken the Hippocratic oath, the front desk staff has not, and they do not care about you. This practice does not have a working portal at the time of review, and there is no way to directly reach your provider, you are at the mercy of the front desk staff. We should have saw the red flag when our Ascension PCP didn’t refer us to Ascension Neurology in the first place. Was referred here. When I called to make an appointment they wanted me to fax over all my clinical notes from my Dr. Once I got that done I called back and they did not receive my fax (maybe lost my HIPAA?) and now wanted me to fax my referral too. Getting my referral changed was much easier than trying to get an appointment.

My doctor is good but the front staff needs to learn how to answer a phone and respond to voice mail. It's infuriating. One example is that I've had issues with prescription refills because, over the course of two weeks, no one could respond to me or my pharmacy. This led me to to an epilepsy medication withdraw which believe me, is not fun. The front staff needs to get it together.
