Very professionally run . My wife bought glasses, had a problem with right eye vision and the ladies at Ascension optical worked with her till she was completely satisfied.
Best experience ever! I made sure to make appointments for my entire family before leaving, and will be recommending them to my friends and coworkers! The staff is super knowledgeable and it shows. The wait was minimal and pleasant in their waiting area and the Dr. made me feel as if I was his only patient...I felt he truly cared about my concerns and made sure I understood everything he told me. The doctor did not prescibe progressive lens when I specifically requested them, both pairs of lens were wrong when they came in, one pair was still getting the lenses fitted after two weeks, and poor communication between new works and experienced ones. Went to Eyeglass 4-Less, paid out of pocket for another eye exam and walked out with two new pairs in a total of about three hours.
I started using Ascension Optical and Williamson Eye Center over 27 years ago after my GERAT lady eye doctor moved to Oshners Clinic in Baton Rouge. IN MY OPINION, that was the last time I have received an accurate eye diagnosis and eye glasses that allowed me to see properly. Like an idiot, I kept going back to A/O & WEC. I ordered glasses from them on March 3rd. I still don't have my glasses. Also I had to make 2 needless trips to Gonzalez from Baton Rouge because their text notification system screwed up. Will NEVER go there again.
