An excellent experience this morning. Both the Doctor (Krizinsky sp) and the Optician (Intasar) were very knowledgeable and very helpful during my visit. More businesses need people like these two women.
I can say in the last 30+ years i lived in this area i have had family from myself to parent children and even grand children come in and out of the hospital. The treatment and care that these family members have recieved is first class and it shows that there are great people that still care for what they are doing to help the needy. My son and I have been going here for 10+ years. We have always received superb customer service. My son wears cataract glasses and they have always made sure they are of highest quality. He also has a short attention span so the team at Optimeyes Westland has been very patient. I want to say a special thank you to Jacqueline Lee for her outstanding care and concern!
I went to the ER at HF West Bloomfield and was treated like a piece of crap. Sat in the lobby for two and a half hours before going to triage. After triage I was sent back to the lobby for another hour. Mind you my reason for the visit was due to a cellulitis infection in my legs which also have chronic ulcer’s due to Lymphedema. The er is the worst! There are people that have been waiting 3+ hrs in the er waiting room & haven't even seen a Dr yet!
I’m a patient of ST Johns clinic Mendelson and Kornblum. I’ve been treated with respect and dignity every visit. Diagnosis is on point as I prepare for spinal surgery at ST Johns Macomb. I trust I’m in good hands. Hospital registration was polite and courteous as they type and cross match for blood products if need be. I read so many inappropriate comments regarding ER visits. On Saturday, I mistakenly got No-Lye Relaxer Perm in my left eye. Being extremely scared and eight months pregnant, I called into the office for an eye emergency only to find they were closed for an Employee Appreciation Day. Per the recording I was instructed to call a 313-916 number to speak with a Physician Oncall and an Eye Dr. I called as instructed and when I reached Henry Ford the representative Shareeka took my information and stated a Dr. would be calling me back. The pharmacy could not provide my asthma medication while I was admitted for an operation and would not allow me to take my own medication. I paid my co-pay before I was admitted and I have been billed twice and threatened with collections by the anasthesiologist for the co-pay that I had already paid in full.
From the the moment we arrived to the emergency room, we were greeted by the security guard informing us to sign in and find a seat. 40 minutes after we had signed in we had approached the desk inquiring about the wait, just to find out that they didn't even realize we had signed in. After all the test were performed we were taken back to witness them struggling to find a clean room for us to be placed in.
