this is a check that is given to you when you over pay on your hospital visits. atleast in my case that's what it is for. i paid all my bills in full but one of the billing department supervisors realized and told me that i should have gotten a self pay discount on all 5 of my bills and was going to send me a refund for $251.29

Surprised! How wonderful to receive a check from Ascension Health-St. Thomas. My husband thought it was a scam and told me to throw the check away. We had paid all of his medical bills before they were due because he hopes to retire soon. The insurance policy he has is a very high deductible and low percentage of co-pay after deductible is paid. I have been in and out of the hospital the majority of 2016, from a scratched cornea, asthma attacks, a staph infection and a broken toe! On top of this I am a single mom and was laid off! I have not let these dark times shake my faith. God bless you for being the light to people like me! The money you sent me is a true​ blessing

I do not know why I got a $60 check from you. I have not had any contact with your business. I don't even know what is it for or why you are sending it. I think its a scam
