I was seen at Ascension in Glendale this past Saturday. While the staff was friendly and nice, I was diagnosed with shingles and put on antivirals, 1000 mg 3x a day. This lump did not look like any shingles I've ever seen so today I went to Froedtert. It was a cyst! So for 4 days the meds they prescribed have been tearing up my stomach. For what? Clearly there needs to be more education going on here.
I was experiencing an allergy reaction. The nurses were very nice. But the physician's assistant that was in charge of treating me he insisted it was not an allergy and kept passing it off as indigestion or something because I did not have a rash or hives. But I had all the other classic symptoms and was feeling greatly unwell including extremely high blood pressure. I have never left a negative review anywhere in my life. They lock doors half an hour before they close, and the reception staff was INSANELY rude and disrespectful. Talking negatively about patients very loudly and cursing. The most unprofessional health care environment I’ve ever experienced. DO NOT COME HERE.
I arrived 20mins from closing and was turned away for my child’s ankle; I was told they were done with X-rays for the day. Where does it say limited services the last 30mins of the day.
