Went for the stuffed cabbage special, but it was gone. Waitress suggested Corned beef short ribs, incredible. We also tried the potato pancakes, they went great with our Octoberfest beer.
The food was really not that good. It tasted more mass produced and less authentic German. The design was nice and the seating reminded me of Germany, however I did not enjoy the love music. I guess I was hoping for more of a germany feel and less of an American bar that happens to serve German beer and sub-par German food. I will say our waitress was very nice, but service was on the slow side. If you've never been to Germany you may enjoy it more.
I love the Biergarten, but honestly sometimes their service is really lacking. I went this past Sunday around 5, just wanted a few beers and a pretzel. The bar was mobbed so we moved over to stand at one of the whiskey barrels across the room. The host told us a server would be with us shortly, after waiting a good 25 minutes for someone to come over we finally said okay forget it and let's get a table.
