the positive: -the clinic is clean, well-run, and efficient -very rarely do I ever wait more than a few minutes to dose. -staff are generally helpful and respectful. Kristen was at west Milwaukee and was my husband’s counselor. She compared her monster intake to heroin addiction… then had him rapidly detoxed but I never was kicked out. He had awful anxiety and problems because of this. He’s better now but I almost went here and saw her face and shivered. She had him out for no reason and he was a sweetheart.. still is. THIS is what addiction treatment should be!! This clinic should be the example all other treatment facilities model themselves after! For the first time, I feel like a 'patient'.. not a 'drug addict'!! The staff here truly understands what we are going thru but even more than that, they care!
I've noticed some reviews from people transferring from other states. Unfortunately, we don't have grants here for methadone maintenance, so the financial aspect is going to suck wherever you go. :( and the other clinics in this state are actually meh compared to asap. I came from a chain clinic, although this adds maybe 5-6 mins to my weekly drive...it's so worth it.
