I tried this place because it was only a mile from where I live. I’ve lived in Austin for four years and never heard of this place. I’m not a fan of the Austin food truck scene. I wanted to try this place because I thought it was unique to try a toasted burrito. I wasn’t a fan of the flavor of the asada burrito. The burrito desperately needed salsa because it was dry. I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area and there’s nothing like a Mission burrito. Just like there is nothing like Texas BBQ. So, I am always very leery of reviews that reference “mission burrito”, but also hopeful. With that said, although not a Mission burrito, I was, very pleasantly surprised and it was 100% worth the drive across town. Everyone seems to be hyping the steak super burrito. Honestly, all the food here is great. The burrito is very big. There’s no wrong order. I got the steak which was very good, but I tried the grilled chicken which was amazing.it had notes of smokiness from the fire. I went back a week later.
