Avoid at all costs unless you are an enabler. Had an interesting experience the other day with the owner Mike Yould, you know the same guy that shut down Birch and Anchor and SIP in Dartmouth leaving customers and staffing hanging. Only reason I had any contact with Asado was to attempt to get our money back on a SIP gift card. The food was terrible with the ribs dried out and inedible. Brisket coated in our own bbq made it okay. And I sure know it's not worth what you are paying for.
Asado did an absolutely fantastic job catering our wedding. We haven't stopped getting complements since. The communication was incredibly detailed and clear. We trusted them with complex/severe dietary restrictions and they delivered on keeping things tasty and safe with incredible competence and professionality. So tasty, on time, professional and outstanding communication and service. Highly recommend if you are looking for great food and project management.
Asado was incredible for our wedding! We wanted a casual buffet style meal and they did not disappoint! We chose 4 mains for our wedding - the BBQ Brisket, the Portuguese Chicken, the BBQ Salmon, and the Portobello Mushroom burger as a vegetarian option. All of our guests were raving about the food, and the portions were fantastic. Asado catered our Wedding. They were great to deal with from start to finish. Laid back vibe and we got tons of compliments on the food! They were flexible and accommodating to changes to cocktail hour, dinner and late night pizza.
I tried Asado Wood Fired Grill yesterday at the food trucks in Bridgewater Nova Scotia. I have never had an Oktoberfest sausage before and I had one yesterday and it was bang on. It was delicious. Their corn on the cob was very sweet and delicious as well.
