DO NOT LET THIS MAN ON YOUR PAIN TEAM. My husband was admitted to Duke for a bowel obstruction. He has a rare chronic condition and has dealt with these issues for +25 years, so not his first rodeo. Dr. Arun Ganesh was my anesthesiologist last week for a procedure that required some special positioning needs. He knew my medical history thoroughly. He was extremely professional. He gave me superb confidence and comfort and I would go out of my way to request him as my anesthesiologist. Also, he worked very closely with the CRNA and both educated me regarding expectations. I can honestly say that Dr. Ganesh and his team exceeded all my expectations.
WARNING!!! DO NOT go to Duke pain clinic. Go to Emergeortho (Triangle Orthopedic). Untreated by Duke Dr. Ganesh they found that I needed urgent surgery where the MRI proved I had a compressed nerve causing numbness in my left side/arm. Untreated could become permanent.
