Not pleased at all. Dr. Devakonda repeatedly asked me the same questions & definitely didn't listen. Me: I quit smoking in 1998. Him: So you quit smoking 2 years ago? Me: No, I quit smoking 21 years ago. Later in the conversation...Him: You quit smoking 4 years ago? This went on repeatedly with different questions. It was also certainly nice that he answered a personal call while with me. He didn't listen to me in any way and instead ordered a plethora of tests that I already told him I can't afford. Dr. Devakonda is an amazing doctor. He listened to me and was able to find out why I was not getting over my pneumonia. I highly recommend him.

Dr. D is patient and caring. He takes the time to explain things, listen to and address your concerns. HOWEVER, I suspect he needs a new office manager because whoever thinks Brenda can check patients in and out, schedule appointments, answer incoming calls, and carry on conversations between insurance companies and referrals to other facilities/specialists is either crazy or a fool. She handles it like a champ, but she shouldn't have to and neither should patients.
