It's not so much of a farmers market as it is an outdoor food court. You don't go here to get your pita and hummus. Or weekly flowers for the vase. Although I did see one producer stand with outrageous prices. There's a hot sauce stand we tried out. And a bougie market with meats and cheeses for $30 a pound. I highly recommend wandering through the Farmers Market if you're in San Diego. We came down for a kid free weekend and it was great enjoying the beautiful weather and tasting some really good food. I even found a lot of gluten free choices which made it really nice for me.
This is a fun outdoor mall to get some pretty unique Japanese novelty items and gifts. Kids will love all the adorable items of the Hello Kitty ilk. It's amazing some of the quirky things you'll find here.
