One of the smartest decisions we ever made was moving ny dad into Artis, Commack. His care is personalized, The building is designed uniquely for dementia care unlike Anything you would find elsewhere. The Staff is knowledgeable, as well as compassionate.
I’m the Director of Environmental Services here. This is a wonderful place to work and a wonderful place for our residents. We have excellent training for our employees. We concentrate on making our residents as comfortable as possible .We engage the residents in many activities , which is very important when you’re working with Dementia. We do one on one time with the residents to deal with their everyday needs and tasks.
