I'm under Artís charm. I arrived here by a very hot sunday afternoon and a melodious jazz duet was playing. Exciting! Yes indeed though, not as exciting as their home-made vanilla syrup iced latte. Wow, simply delicious. Totally worth a detour. I sat there with a pot of flowers on my table and a sense that I just had a peak of joy.
Roasting coffee in house, in small batches, makes for a delicious cup. That said, many places do this. Artis does it very well, and more. I don't stop every day, and I only recently learned about their location on 4th Street in Berkeley. I have been offered help, every time I have been seen milling around the various brewing accessories they have for sale. I have even been offered a chance to have some demonstrated for me. I am pretty sure this is the best coffee ever. Employees were friendly. My scone was okay, but I will be back and try another pastry because this is now my coffee place when passing through!
The Best almond milk chai tea I have ever tasted. Truly heaven in a cup!
