They are very thorough and extensive in informing , screening as well as walking through every phase with you. Ultimately this leads to a very successful reaching of your goal. The goal is not only weight loss but health and a much longer healthy and happier life. Dr. Carlin is a very positive and caring physician who is always encouraging you to be the best you ... you can be!
I couldn’t of asked for a more caring doctor. Having surgery with Dr. Carlin at Henry Ford Macomb was the best experience. From the office staff to the hospital staff I was very well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Carlin as a bariatric surgeon !!!

Dr. Carlin is the nicest person EVER!!! When I met him for the first time he was so friendly & down to earth. He really wants to get to know his patients on a personal level. We discovered we grew up in the same area & knew some of the same people. He's a family man & asked about my family & seems to genuinely care.
Dr. Carlin is one of the best doctors I have had the privilege of meeting. He performed my bariatric surgery in July 2017. He definitely is well versed in his field and has knowledge beyond compare. I would highly recommend him to anyone deciding to go with bariatric surgery. Henry Ford has a remarkable program that totally prepares you for this life changing event.
