Dr. Mericle performed a Microvascular Decompression (MVD) surgery on my Classic Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN 1) on November 6th, 2017. I have been absolutely electrical shock "drop to the ground" pain free since the surgery. I have been completely free of all pain since the surgery. I am also medication free. His entire staff is highly knowledge in this very uncommon condition. I chose Dr. Mericle after searching far and wide for the best neurosurgeon experienced with Trigeminal Neuralgia .
I SAW DR SCHOOLEY IN OR ABOUT 2000, ABOUT MY BACK & MY NECK, HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO FIRST & IF THAT COURSE OF TREATMENT DIDN’T WORK, WE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT AN ALTERNATE COURSE OF TREATMENT. HE WOUND UP HAVING TO DO 4BACK SURGERIES, & 2 NECK SURGERIES. HE WAS VERY HONEST & UP FRONT ABOUT EVERYTHING. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A 50/50 CHANCE IT WOULD HELP ME. I THINK HE’S A GREAT DOCTOR & WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND HIM TO ANYBODY.
You will not find a better surgeon. Great bed side manners and most importantly has the knowledge/experience/reputation that you want/need when having someone work with your nervous system..
I can’t say enough about Dr. Ulm. I had so many questions my first visit and he sat with me and went over everyone of them. He didn’t make me feel rushed at all. His staff was also amazing and helpful. I can’t say enough about them
I saw Dr Ulm this past year for my neck. He and his staff made me feel like family, which made all the difference in the world to me. I received the best care I could have hoped for and would recommend Dr Ulm to anyone in my family.
Dr. Ulm and his staff are so wonderful. They took very good care of me before and after my surgery. I had so many questions after my surgery and anytime I called they always made me feel at ease. I feel like a new person again!!
after waiting for over an hour and being told twice by his PA that Dr Ulm would be in he never showed up in our room, PA came back in to say that they would be fine with whatever our neurologist wanted to do, the neurologist sent us over there to see what could be done. The charge for wasting over an hour waiting on Dr Ulm {which we never saw} and 2 visits from the PA to say he was coming and finally the answer of we do not really care go back to your neurologist was over $600.00
I have received excellent care from Dr. Miracle and all of his staff. After having a double neck fusion, I am pain free! Professional, with care and concern for your well being.
Dr. Ulm is a very caring and attentive doctor. He always listened to my questions and concerns and treated me with respect and care. His staff is wonderful..
