Trigeminal Neuralgia is a devastating, debilitating condition. As a nurse, it was difficult to do my work and take enough medication to keep the pain under control. Eventually, the medication was useless. The horrific pain ruled my life, until I found Dr. Robert Mericle. In 2007, he performed MVD surgery for me. Usually, Trigeminal Neuralgia affects one side, It affected both sides of my face. I'm thankful to God & Dr. Mericle! Pain free, 11 years now!
Words cannot adequately describe my gratitude for Dr. Ulm and his staff. After experiencing debilitating headaches for weeks coupled with changes to my vision I was referred to Dr. Ulm for a brain tumor, his staff accommodated my request to be seen ASAP and I met his PA, Darice on my first visit, she was kind and explained my condition thoroughly, I went back to meet Dr. Ulm the following week to discuss & schedule surgery. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. They saved my life.
I had a back surgery with a different doctor 13 years ago and my back was never the same since. Dr Ulm went back in and fixed what was previously done and i already feel better than i ever have.I am so thankful for him. He truly gave me my life back.
I owe my life to Dr. Ulm. I suffered a stroke and without his quick action I would not be here today. Thank God for him!

Most (if not all) of these “Excellent Reviews “ are actually done by his staff, so don’t believe everything you are reading. I know this to be 100% true for a fact. He doesn’t even have a nurse, even though she (Ronnie) says she is one, she is not even a certified MA. Don’t be fooled
He and his staff have lied to me 6 time over a 3 week period. The latest lie was sending me to get a CT scan without ever sending a referral to Healthspring. IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF MY DAY. Plus they haven't set up a pain clinic appointment when they were supposed to. They have a total disregard for their patients and are incompetent. There is no way I would let this doctor operate on my neck. A total waste of 6 weeks
Went to his office twice and never saw him. I saw his nurse twice. he was supposed to see me and discuss surgery but never showed up. I left and found another doctor to fix my neck.
Dr. Ulm and his staff are wonderful! I’ve never met such a down to earth, caring Neurosurgeon! Questions are answered and time is taken with each patient! Would refer Dr. Ulm and his staff to anyone!
