Today is day 38 after my right knee TKR surgery. I opted to complete the prescribed 18-session PT program with the A&S PT team. That team has launched me well into my recovery arc. I worked with seven therapists, each of whom treated me with respect and genuine concern for my progress. They tolerated my silly jokes (e.g. "could I use the e-bike to start my session") and monitored me carefully as I completed each exercise. Everything went perfectly for me regarding my recent total hip replacement. Pre-op guidance from Arthritis & Sports (A&S) and the Reston Hospital Center (RHC) was thorough, detailed, and well-coordinated, so I was well prepared for the surgery and confident that the surgery and subsequent recovery would go very well.
