It’s bad. Very small office unequipped for the demand, with low standards. It’s one doctor who is only in 2 days a week, so they cram schedule as many people as possible. There’s also one nurse and one lab nurse. This results in very long wait times, hours long. Additionally, it’s not a professional operation. The lab nurse put unsterile scotch tape on my injection site because she “didn’t know where the bandaids were.” She kept dropping vials and seemed lost. Poor professional experience. Long wait times (waited over an hour past my scheduled time twice). Felt rushed in the appointment and doctor tried prescribing medication that my chart showed I was allergic to. Doctor took a personal phone call to talk to his son about their weekend plans during my appointment. Very unprofessional. Reception area is very very small with patients sitting very close by. Hard to share personal information privately.
Very good bedside manner. He extends himself for this patients and is thorough kind and knowledgeable. Lynchburg is blessed to have him.
Scheduled for a 4:00 appointment. At 6:15…I’m still waiting to get bloodwork done. The technician comes out of the room while working with another patient, looks at me and one other patient waiting to get bloodwork done and says to her co-worker “we still have more to go?” After her co-worker responds with “yes, there are two more patients to go” the bloodwork tech says “I am way too overstimulated for this right now.
