I used to love this place, was like a second home for us. loved the variety and prices and the staff. Loved their support of art and the LGBT community. But went in last night and the menu was stripped, very few selections. All the things we loved were gone. Special ordered a dish we used to get and were charged several dollars more and got charged extra for a side that was always included before. Always tasty, always affordable.
I've been here for a relaxed brunch and for a fun night out, and had a blast both times! Honestly, I had no idea they did the whole bar/club thing, but I heard about a cosplay event they were hosting and couldn't resist! I tend to be a pretty introverted homebody type, but it was a lot of fun dressing up, hearing some new music, meeting awesome people and eating some tasty food. Sadly, I had a headache and couldn't stay till closing, but I'll definitely be keeping an ear to the ground for similar events here in the future!
This place holds a special piece of my heart and I think everyone needs to experience it.

This place was recommended to us by a young man working at The Madison Hotel and Conference Center, we wanted a traditional breakfast but not your run of the mill place (not a chain or franchise) the Artful Dodger definitely fit the bill. I actually would probably give it a 5 but the bench i sat on felt like it hasn’t had padding since the early 70’s and the front patio allows smoking , otherwise we would have eaten out there. Cool vibe, nice people, quirky decor and great food.
