I will not be supporting Artemis any longer. The owners are abusive not only to one another, but physically assaulted a good friend and coworker of mine yesterday. The man quite literally punched a female bartender in the sternum. He was also laughing about, and proudly admitted to some of the most vulgar forms of domestic abuse I've ever heard. Happened to stop by when they were playing live music. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing!! We tried the chicken gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and the lamb burger. Both meals were the best we have had in Tahoe.
Food and service are gorgeous. We tried duck with pomegranate sauce, deer with fig sauce, vegetarian pasta, lemon chicken soup and spinach and feta phyllo. Very delicate flavours. Excellent option.
