I watched my cousin become severely ill after mold exposure at Arte Apartments. She was repeatedly hospitalized, struggled to breathe, developed a chronic cough, and became too sick to work and even wheelchair bound. I have spent my entire life protecting my children, and one of the hardest things I have ever experienced was watching my daughter deteriorate become seriously ill while living in an apartment she repeatedly complained had mold and other habitability problems.
