I should have read the reviews about this property management before I applied. We signed a lease on Saturday 10/26/24 with the deposit (in the form of a cashiers check) and gave our current place a 30 day notice only to be told yesterday 10/28/24 that they are rescinding the offer. I’m so disappointed in their lack of consideration for the situation they put us in and with no remorse. Not even sure this is legal. Its landlords and property management that give landlords a bad name.
They own a large number of properties in SF. The family is filthy rich and cheap as can be when it comes to building maintenance. They do the minimum to keep a building together, spending as little as possible. They are better than some landlords but only marginally. They don’t repair things that need repairs or replacement. I had a gas heater which PGE said was unsafe; the technician wrote a report for me to give the landlord, which I did. Never repaired.
