Appt 4 wks ago, am still confused. Went for full body check. Dr F came in with 2nd woman. No introduction, just asked why I was there. I pointed out what I wanted her to see on my face, response, benign, benign. Asked her to look at my scalp, she asked why. I said because of sun and I can't see my own scalp. She burned 2 things off, when I asked what, said sun damage. Asked her to look at burn scars on my arms, she offered to burn them off! Said she'd give me a steroid for eczema on my hands. There's nothing wrong with my ha... read more

My experience with Dr. Arta Farshidi has been a frustrating and concerning one. After an initial appointment for a skin examination and biopsy, I faced a lack of communication regarding my results and unanswered questions.I have reported Dr. Farshidi to the Medical Board of California for not providing my medical records (after multiple requests and months gone by), after leaving me in the dark about a potentially pre-cancerous mole on my leg. I strongly recommend considering an alternative healthcare provider/dermatologist.... read more

On 11/2/22, I had my 3rd Mohs surgery for removal of a squamous cell carcinoma (previous Mohs surgery in 09/18 & 09/20) on the left side of my head. Janet, the medical assistant, prepared me for the procedure. Dr. Farshidi removed 1-layer of tissue for analysis & showed cancer, so another layer of tissue was removed & this was cancer-free. Dr. Farshidi stitched my head & gave me instructions to use Vasline & cover with a band-aid or gauze pad for the next 10-days. I return on 11/15/22 & Janet removed the stitches. Dr. Farshi... read more

I can't imagine why anyone would rate Dr. Farshidi with anything less than 5 Stars. She knows her stuff, has incredible "bedside manner", and even a great sense of humor. She makes you feel like family or a long-lost friend. Her staff is on-the-ball and courteous. Highly recommend!

This is the first Dr office asks for credit card information even if you don't have to pay. They make copy and put in file. Then after an hour wait in waiting room and 15 minutes inside office she did not want to burn all my moles. She wanted keep some for next time. I also asked her if anything can make skin tight and she said nothing works. She burned three moles and said let's see what happens and left. Wanted make sure I go back.

I had Mohs surgery on 8/27/18. Dr. Farshidi performed the procedure & she removed (1) layer of tissue which showed cancer. About 1 hour later she removed another layer of tissue & this one was cancer-free. Dr. Farshidi is an excellent Dermatologist who is current on all medical procedures relating to dermatology. Dr. Farshidi skills are "exceptional" & this is coupled with excellent "people skills". Dr. Farshidi is supported by an excellent staff! I highly recommend Dr. Farshidi.

I was referred for possible removal of a pre-cancerous growth on my back. I expected to scheduled for a surgery date, but Dr. Farshidi said, no, she could remove it right then and there. She failed to shave the area prior to the surgery (they had run out of razors!), proceeding to remove a growth the size of a quarter. A subsequent visit to my internist revealed a serious infection requiring heavy antibiotics. The internist was appalled (it's never good when doctor gasps while examining you).

Dr. Farshidi is a wonderful physician who treats her patients with great care and concern. She is extremely knowledgeable about the latest dermatology treatments and medications. Her surgical skills are excellent with little or no pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend her to family and friends.
