If I could give Art zero star, I will. 17 years ago, I was happy with their product and service, so I hired them again in 2007. Fast forward to 2020, I discovered that I paid for product A, but instead they delivered and installed a vastly inferior product X. I stumbled into this when I needed a replacement panel for product X, I cannot find any because product X went out of business 10 years ago. When confronted by this, Art keeps denying it. At one point, he denies installing the garage door. I no longer have the receipt, but fortunately I still have the sticker in my garage wall that proves he installed it. Second, city records shows his name as the installer. Rep for product A, on a 3 way call, did acknowledge it is NOT their product. I gave him many opportunities to rectify this. Instead, Art added insult to injury by insisting to just replace the garage door because the garage door is beyond repair. Fortunately, I was able to find a different company that was able to repair my garage door at less than 15% of Art's estimate for a new garage door.
So Art is either (1) incredibly incompetent in what he does because he does not know how to repair a garage door, which coincidentally the process to repair is posted on YouTube or (2) he puts his interests first before his customers.
If you still wish to do business with Art, please be very careful in your dealings with him.
