As a first time home buyer, I should have been more informed. The inspector missed a lot of important things, or downplayed the importance. Every contractor we have had come into our home (due to water damage caused by the dishwasher) says the inspector should have done this or caught that. Shame on us for being so naive and thinking the inspector knew what he was doing, instead of just collecting our money. One star is still too much.
