This place sucks!! What a joke!!! Nasty ass bathroom too!! Water didn’t work, no tp!! In the ER bathroom in the back!!
Poor service when involves the lives of meaningful people. Especially don’t rely on one their new doctors named Kevin Hamilton to save you! He & all of these Chicago Med wannabes won’t give you what you need at all when it comes to treatment here. If you’re involved in something life-threatening, pray that the ambulance will take you to a better hospital than this obvious scam!
It is unfortunate this hospital does not follow HIPPA guidelines & follow the proper protocol when there is a case of neglect & exploitation before their eyes with one of their patients. The worst part is the political influence one can have over a patients care. Its who you know in the right places/positions. Trauma dept has incompetente staff, my husband waited 10 hrs to see a surgeon. While we waited staff was in a circle on their cellphones laughing having inappropriate conversations. Drs and nurses DID NOT WASH THEIR HANDS!!!! Even though there are signs saying to tell them, we were given attitude by them. My husband had a workers comp accident, Rns didnt fill out paper work properly. Now his insurance is billing him. My nephew sat in the ER for 2 hours in Sickle Cell crisis without recieving treatment! I took him to Redlands Community and in less than 30 minutes he was being treated. This hospital has no clue how to handle Sickle Cell clients! Don't go here of you're in crisis, you won't be treated well!
These people saved my life. Feb 3rd 2013. I was burned 70% of my body. Dr. Bennett the plastic surgeon and the skin doctors. I will always be in their debt. In a coma 4 mos. Still see her every 8 wks. Thank God for all of them.
I've got to admit that the only thing that made this visit alright was the triage staff and the security at the ER. I waited for 6 hours waiting for my blood work to get finished when I was approached by a nurse asking why I was still sitting there. Needless to say, I never got my blood work results. I was actually pawned off as if I were loitering. It's kind of crappy to say that I had to go to another hospital ER the following day, which diagnosed and treated me within an hour and a half.
