We hired Bruce for some different projects around the house, and we were really pleased with the experience. He was very friendly, easy to communicate with and always kept us updated on what to expect. He was also very helpful in scoping out what would make sense for our specific situation. The work was done very well and with care - everything turned out just as we hoped or better. We'd definitely recommend him for any home repairs (and have already recommended him to friends).
I’ve been working with Bruce for a couple years and he had worked with my mom for years before my experiences. He’s always been so kind and easy to work with. He takes his time in walking you through and explaining the situation and repairs. He goes out of his way to find the best solution and pricing for you. Great quality of work with our projects and everything has been straight forward! He is great with planned out projects and emergencies. Highly recommend!
Bruce did a great job and we are extremely happy with the remodel. His initial vision for the space was much better than what we were originally thinking. He provided helpful and creative suggestions and navigated all unexpected issues (a pole in the middle of a new doorway?? No worries!) and last minute changes we made. My review is long overdue, yet we were immensely happy with the odd jobs that were completed at our home. Attention to detail: Check! Attention to cost: Check! Attention to work completed in a satisfactory manner: Check! Attention to communicating if he would arrive sooner or later than the previously established time: Check! For everything that you want in a contractor: Five stars, for sure.
Bruce is an amazing contractor. He’s been quite adroit at identifying issues at our out of state rental and then proposing and implementing solutions for our older Colonial. He’s also a great communicator which has been so important to me. Highly recommend him and Around the House for your renovation needs.
