Amazing place nice food great ambience
Surrounded by mountains, a putting green, superb food and an outstanding staff...divine. Although somewhat hidden in La Quinta, this unadvertised "gem" is one of the World's most outstanding restaurants. As Arnold Palmer's only restaurant (to date), this is a true "one-of-a-kind" dining experience. Don't go for "fancy" entrees (although the Lobster Bisque is wonderful); rather, go for the ambiance. Best place for gofers to eat This is a great place to eat for the food and atmosphere. The food is great and the staff are friendly. The outside putting green is a big attraction for the kids, so in this respect it is family friendly also. Lots of golf memorabilia to look at.
A unique dining experience This is a verygood restaurant to go to for an occasion. It has a country club atmosphere and serves American entrees, favorites picked by Arnold Palmer himself. He also designed the restaurant and there is a putting hole in the back. It offers live entertainment and it is worth the price you pay. I hightly recommend this dining experience.
Ambiance is Great I've never dined here - only come in the evening for drinks in their very lively lounge. A music combo usually plays popular hits where you will often find patrons dancing between tables and chairs in the bar lounge. For an even neater treat, enjoy cocktails in their outdoor patio while golfers chip and putt beneath the Rolex clock tower into the wee hours. There is no shortage of steakhouses in the desert area, so we had a lot of options. I read reviews on OpenTable and AP's was the only place with no negatives. Because of that we took a chance - I'm always dubious concerning "branded" restaurants. We had a wonderful dinner! They had a great guitarist and fantastic wait staff! Wonderful food and great environment inside and outside. Briana was the best. Great wine list.
