Super thorough. He has a knwledge base that most other docs lack.
Lets start with staff, they always get the job done no ins hang ups.( they bill properly) Especially for how busy they are. I seen at least 9 doctors including 2 neurologist s, i went undiagnosed by all of them. The one neurologist wanted to diagnose cluster headaches she said my head pain had nothing to do with my ankle pain. Dr. Markowitz is an awesome doctor that is extremely thorough & thinks outside the box. He works with Lyme patients too. He saved my son's life. My son was seen by 7 doctors, none of which diagnosed the raging infection inside his body. He was finally told his symptoms were psychological, which most doctors fall back on when they can't figure out what a patient is suffering from. Without the care given by this doctor, I'm certain I'd be in dire straights right now. He's monitored and treated my Lyme disease and other associated illnesses with the utmost care. His knowledge in this area is astounding. He's kind and thoughtful when dealing with me. I would recommend this wonderful doctor. Of all of the physicians I've ever met, he is my favourite! His staff is also very knowledgable and compassionate.
I was hospitalized this summer after a root canal gone bad resulted in osteomyelitis of my jaw bone. I had an infectious disease doctor on my case but was not satisfied with her care or bedside manner or the fact that she accused me of being in the hospital for the narcotic pain medication fun. The dr. isn't bad. But the fact that he allows such unprofessional tactics in his already dirty office baffles me. The nurse is always dirty and unsanitary. The other woman that runs the office is rude and they're both extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I've never experienced anything even close to being so unprofessional in a dr's office as this one is. The office should really be shut down.
The doctor the called in to treat me. Was out of town. So Dr. Markowitz came in... We call it fate. He became my doctor right way..... Love this doctor.... Great knowledge and sense of humor. And very caring. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Markowitz is an outstanding doctor who will spend the time to properly diagnose your condition. His staff has always been very nice to me. Yes they are very, very busy because of how good of a doctor they are working for . Dr. Markowitz makes me feel very comfortable as does his staff. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that would require his services.
I absolute believe that this Dr is a God send! I'm so grateful for such an incredibly intelligent Dr who is looking after my Lyme disease.
