This was my second time, the first time was for a friends birthday, we drove an hour and 15 minutes to have dinner here. This time was with a group of 11 family and friends to celebrate the life of a dear friend who passed away. The wait staff was very nice with all our questions and getting our group comfortable. Fabulous food and service. One of my favorite go-to restaurants in the area.
My wife n I went there looking to make reservations two months in advance a group of 20 for my grandsons first communion. Looked at the place and nothing was blacked out and yes it is going to be Mother’s Day. But the gm called n left a message saying we can seat only 16 people not20. I guess his website is wrong or he needs to redo it because he is misleading the public to hook there with a party of 20. Always my favorite ‘go to’ spot.
I picked this restaurant for a special dinner with my daughter before she returned to the West coast, as none of us had been to Trata before. We loved the decor and ambience, and the waiter was friendly, efficient and patient. Our appetizer was fresh and delicious, as were most of our entrees. Unfortunately the french fries contained the burnt remains of other food that had been fried previously, and the cutlery wasn't clean (but immediately replaced by our attentive waiter).
