I have been a patient for many years. But I notice now how I am treated differently than my husband. I have sent friends and family and they all have had a terrible experience. I was there to established being a new patient. I felt as if she had read my previous doctors notes and made a judgement about me. She didn't check my ears, eyes or nose. She treated me as I wasn't a new patient but one who was coming in for a illness. She never once smiled or showed some type of interest in me being a new patient. Someone close to me has been a patient. Dr. Jemmy is very unprofessional and rude. Asked me 'What u here for in such a rude manner. I want a physical bf my surgery. Why do u need a physical she asks?? I am not able to walk and need wheel chair to get around before and after my surgery. My hip gave out in Oct. My job let me go and she said I'm not signing anything for you to get a wheelchair. Are u in pain? Yelling at top of lungs, slammed her lap top down and everyone in the building could hear her. Just had my first appointment with Dr. Jemmy-Nouafo. She was very pleasant, detailed, and gave me a lot of good information. I would highly recommend her.
The Doctor is great. Unfortunately, you cannot be her patient without dealing with staff, who are sometimes rude and insensitive. After waiting two weeks for a new prescription of an essential drug that I have taken for over a decade that she promised to renew - and after calling 2.5 hours previously to ask that the prescription be approved again, only to be told that no one could help me: [abruptly] "I told you the Doctor will get back to you when she has time." Very professional and listened to my concerns. She listened well but also addressed concerns with a plan of action. To the point and doesn’t sugarcoat anything! Like her a lot!
Very caring Doctor.
My first visit with Dr. Jemmy was great. She listened to me and answered any questions I had. Her staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Jemmy has shown she is willing to help me get my body and my health too 100%. I feel very blessed to have this doctor over my care.
