RecommendedArmature Works is the new hot spot, and is my favorite area in Tampa. Old factories have been turned into restaurant malls next to the Hillsborough River and a newly renovated Hillsborough River Waterfront Park in the heart of the city. A water taxi is accessible nearby and there are miles of new sidewalk along the waterfront which beg to be explored. Such a unique, eclectic place! Great for family days, date nights, girls nights, entertaining out-of-town guests...etc. Has a rustic, Nashville feel to it with a variety of casual dining options, live music, drinks, outdoor entertainment with large checker & chess boards and a great view of the water with ample seating. A must-do in Tampa! We'll be back again and again!

Packed full of people, too many restaurants and very loud music but the ice cream shop was 5 stars!!
Flower Power Empanadas at Empamamas are soooo yummy! Loved the rustic vibe but once it gets crowded with people it gets uncomfortable.
Great place to hang out with friends, not kid appropriate at nights.
