He was my son's pediatrician - wonderful doctor.
We've had Dr De Pala for our kids for over a decade and have had amazing service from him and his team. He is VERY knowledgeable, and practices medicine with common sense and good humor.
Best pediatrician our children ever had. Hands down no comparison. We moved and had other pediatricians after him and none measured up to his level of expertise and care.
I don’t know why everyone loves this guy. I’ve always found him very rude and unapproachable. He majorly upset my son today and shame on me for not being more vocal about it at the time but I was caught off guard. He also brushed off my questions about testing for ASD a few of years ago because he thinks that for people with “high functioning” autism, a diagnosis does more harm than good because then “they are ostracized, and it doesn’t make a difference” and that there was no point in doing any testing.
