While there was a possibility that the item I received may have been previously returned, the way the situation was handled made all the difference. The staff was professional, responsive, and respectful, and the refund was processed smoothly without any pushback. Purchased a mcLane edger. A high end product. It was defective. Communicated with Arlington who indicated it was the manufacturers issue. McLane said it was Arlingtons issue as they sold it to me. Zero response from either when I questioned who would stand behind the product. So I made an $800 purchase and the product does not work as designed. No return authorization. No communication. I’m a very dissatisfied customer.
I purchased a McLane edger from Arlington for personal use. The equipment arrived in three days with the packaging in pristine condition. The contents were just as clean and dent free with all the parts and manuals packaged and included in flat unfolded condition. Seriously, not one scratch on the equipment and I looked very closely. Kudos to the carrier who did the shipping as they obviously treated the package with care. No tears, rips or dents in the packaging and the packaging inside the box was impeccable. Sold me a motor it came with broken parts and these people wouldn’t return it. They offered me a $100 dollar rebate… I had the mower in and out of the shop ALL SUMMER and LUCKILY weingartz replaced the motor and isn’t receiving any help from Kohler either. Luckily WEINGARTZ gave me a loaner. I would very highly recommend NOT doing business with these guys I had a brand new motor come to me with several broken parts it for sure fell or got damaged during shipping and they did nothing for me I spent MONTHS of my time running a... read more
